When I put this league together, I knew it would end up being a very strong, ultra-competitive collection of fantasy baseball players.
Those thoughts were assured, early on, when one of the owners ‘called their shot’ and announced themselves as the future league champions … even before the first pitch of the year was thrown!
In the end, it was …
… Joel Henard, initially of the Hoosier Fantasy Baseball Insider but now of the The Fantasy Insiders podcast, that took home the trophy.

Following behind Joel, with a mere eight points of separation, 2nd through 6th Places were a toss-up, making for, what I am sure was, a close and exciting finish.
Our very own Chris Spencer – Senior Contributor to FantasyBaseballTradeMarket.com – held on to grab 2nd, just three points ahead of Ivar Anderson’s “Planet 10″ squad. By finishing 3rd, Ivar – of FantasyGameday.net – joins Kelly Pfleiger, the 2nd Place finisher in the FBTM Premier League, to round out two fantastic fantasy seasons.
With three points separating the teams finishing in 4th through 6th Place, we see three loyal and super-competitive FBTM fans in Bas from Holland (4th), John in Cleveland (5th), and Ronan in Ireland (6th) rounding out their own impressive campaigns. Great job, guys!
My thanks go out to each and every member of the Championship League. I’m grateful for your support this season and look forward to seeing you return in 2010!
